Well this post doesn't have anything about the kiddies in it, but me and the little nevilles have been watching a young aussie sheilah named Jessica Watson. She's hoping to be the youngest sailer to circumnavigate the world non-stop and unassisted Strewth!
Here's her sailing boat the 'ELLA'S PINK LADY' which is a S&S 34 which is the same boat that Jesse Martin used for his history making solo circumnavigation. It's length overall is 10.23m (from bum to the pointy bit) and the Bean: 3.08m, a bit of sailing talk their!
So to give the kiddies an idea how long it would take them (if they ever feel the need) to sail around the world, we are having a gander at her web page http://www.jessicawatson.com.au/

You've got to give it to this sheilah hay only sixteen and not only being able to sail a boat by herself, but going out into the big blue never never.... bugger that! I love the sea but from a armchair on the beach, me i'm a old beachcomber not a seacomber.
So we are keeping a track on this sheilah from reading her blog and where keeping track of her trip in out sidebar, with a little map to tell ya where she is (all close enough) so keep a look out for her.
